First demo hotfix
One More Level's opening patch to the Valor Mortis demo cleaned up crashes, stuck states and progression limits flagged by early players. The developer's guidance is to keep the demo on the latest Steam update before attempting any other troubleshooting step.

Demo version 1.02 — "DLSS is Back"
Version 1.02 restored DLSS support and made DLSS 4.5 available again for the demo. The same post notes an Unreal Engine limitation that requires a full game restart after enabling Frame Generation, so restart the client before judging performance.

Known Issues list updated
The developer's pinned Known Issues thread still warns that enabling DLSS may freeze loading, even after 1.02 restored the feature. Affected players are told to switch to TSR, restart the game, and submit a report — not to keep force-closing stalled loads on the same setting. The thread also acknowledges a rare black or endless loading screen with no dedicated fix.
Demo 1.03
Witch Hunt loading crash fixed
Update 1.03 targeted the demo's Chapter VII: Witch Hunt loading crash. If that chapter still fails to load, confirm you are actually running 1.03 before trying further workarounds.

Full release confirmed
Valor Mortis launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam), arriving day one on Xbox Game Pass. The full game is built in Unreal Engine 5 by One More Level and published by Lyrical Games, with an original score co-composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski (Silent Hill 2 Remake, The Medium, Layers of Fear) alongside in-house composer Oskar Bała, and Vincent Cassel portraying Napoleon.
